I am not sure if anyone else is familiar with NHL 2004 and modding, but I am digging deeper for more help because the people on the NHL 2004 forum are not responding to my post.
I am also using the launcher that comes with the mods. I understand how to do a mod, but now something else is getting f'd up and none of the copies will work after modding one of them. Replace the original NHL2004.EXE file with the one from the File Archive. It's when I start to copy and mod stuff that things go to h*** and it stops working altogether. When I do a fresh install of the base of NHL 2004 (before modding), it runs fine (just to make things clear). I just get the "NHL2004.exe stopped working" or whatever that error message is. My problem I am having is that whenever I copy the NHL 2004 folder in the root, add the mod files, and go to play the mod, that copy nor the original copy of NHL 2004 work. I copy my folder in the root (C:\NHL 2004). However, whenever I mod one, none of them work. My goal (no pun intended) is to mod my NHL 2004 game with other mods.
